Faith Lynella is also known as Dr. Lynella Grant

I've been in the "spiritual fast lane" my whole life. Because my mother was Bahai, I was at home with all the major religions from the start. Since my teenage years, I diligently sought out and studied the great saints, masters, writers, and truth bringers. One of my undergraduate degrees is in Philosophy-Religion from a Methodist university.

My spiritual instruction included eighteen years living in a Gurdjieff community (a Fourth Way school devoted to oral tradition). Rigorous training from so many extraordinary mentors (coupled with my own direct experience) prepared me to recognize subtle patterns as they arise. Then it's a matter of giving precise words to them. It took me a lifetime of training, skill development, and guidance to capture the essence of the New Energies on paper. I also drew on my extensive experience as a teacher/trainer, coach, and seminar leader on spiritual matters.

My careers have been numerous and varied: psychologist, statistician, lawyer, consultant, trainer, personnel director, inventor, marketer, publisher, professional speaker, web developer, and of course, author. But I sense they will all be eclipsed by what is now developing in my life. The New Energy is bringing a new "me" to flower. Just as it is doing for so many others.

When I started to write Spiritual Hangover, I was living in Colorado; my name: Lynella Faith Grant. During the course of writing this, I changed my name to Faith Lynella. (Faith was my middle name since birth. It is now my first, and Lynella my last.) It coincided with me moving back to the old family homestead in Alaska. No electricity, no phone, no plumbing, no Internet access.

Why? It became apparent to me that both were no longer in alignment with the direction the New Energies were taking me. Innumerable pieces of my life (major and minor) similarly fell by the wayside. Others morphed into something totally unexpected. Some of the changes came as a surprise. But upon candid reflection, whatever went away was excess baggage that interfered with full alignment.
